Obama’s Message Continues to Inspire Global Community, Advance Campaign

The past eight years of the Bush administration has not only affected the national perception of the federal government, but they have also served as a breeding ground for hostility amongst foreign countries.

Whomever the next president of the United States will be is undecided at this time, but one thing is for sure: he will have restored America’s position as a positive global leader. Presidential hopeful, Barack Obama, has already begun to practice the diplomatic policies he plans to implement if he is elected president.

  • The Hilltop Examines Role, Significance of First Lady

The media’s portrayal of the wives  of American presidents often focuses on  the first lady’s style, elegance and beauty.

However, more important qualities of a first lady should be considered, including her implementation of useful initiatives, ability to communicate and ability to relate the public, as well as her positive influence on the president.

Each of these criterion require a level of education that can provide the ability to reason and make informed decisions. Although these women do not make the executive decisions that guide the country, they serve as national icons and should represent the country equally, as well as any other political figure.
